Purpose, Methods, and Goals

Clear View Treatment Center (CVTC) is a 24-hour, in home treatment program that focuses on preparing children for placement in the community. The rural setting provides clean air, recreational activities, and a healthy, small town alternative to the negative environment often associated with cities, We believe that this, in conjunction with a highly structured, reality based, residential and vocational treatment program will help children who have a personal or family history of substance abuse and who may be diagnosed as emotionally disturbed to develop a more positive self-image and mental state; qualities that they can take to future placements.Upon intake, each client will be given an assessment of educational and vocational functioning, and a comprehensive inventory of social and living skills. Long term goals and milestones will be set to improve their functioning in these areas.

Each client’s progress will be measured by skill evaluation, measurement against milestones, activities of daily living, progress toward GED/Diploma, job skills, and progress in individual and group therapy. This will be measured weekly by our level system, reviewed in team meeting, and comprehensively reviewed and adjusted quarterly by Social Worker. A psychiatrist will review each client for medication reviews, if appropriate.
